Slime generally becomes sticky over time as it deactivates, or in warm weather; slime also responds differently to different peoples hands. If your slime feels too sticky, spray some STICK-E-RASER or liquid borax activator onto your slime to make it less sticky. Be careful not to add too much at a time or you may end up over activating your slime

Why does my slime stick to my hands?
Why is my slime stiff and unflexible?
Stiff and unflexible slime is generally caused by overactivation, or it has potentially started to dry out. Even cold temperatures can cause your slime to not feel as soft and stretchy. Depending on the reason, you can try the following things to soften your slime:
1. Ensure slime is at room temperature
2. Add some warm water to your slime and thoroughly mix. Note that adding water to your slime will make it softer, but also runnier
3. Add some of our SLIME CONDITIONER to your slime to help soften. Note only add a little at a time to ensure you don't under activate your slime.
4. Add some unscented and colour-free hand lotion or vegetable glycerine to your slime
Why is my slime container not completely full when I received it?
We user larger containers than other slime companies for a few reasons:
1. The larger container mouth makes it easier to get your slime in and out of the container
2. Our containers are sized to hold 8 oz of product, however there is additional capacity in case your slime inflates while playing. The overfill capacity of our containers is 11 oz.
Will slime cause irritation or allergies?
We suggest not playing with slime if you have a sensitivity to strong fragrances, lotions, school glue, glycerine, or borax.
Do you accept refunds?
Unfortunately, due to the nature of our products we do NOT offer any refunds; all sales are final. If you are unhappy with any of your products, please feel free to reach out to us via email info@ruby-moon.ca.
Do I need to be careful with the slime care kit items?
The slime care kit contains items that should only be used by an adult. The borax package and STICK-E-RASER contain borax. The SLIME CONDITIONER contains vegetable glycerine. Sensitive areas should be avoided including eyes, ears, nose, and mouth. Always wash your hands after handling these items.
What if my slime does not fit back in the container?
We have done our best to provide the perfect size container to minimize the chances that your slime will not fit back in your container after playing. If however you cannot fit your slime back in your container after playing you can try the following things:
1. Purchase additional containers from the Ruby Moon website for overflow slime. These containers can also be used to create custom slime-mix creations. We sell deli-containers and official Ruby Moon slime containers
2. Place your slime in your own sealable container until it deflates. Once deflated (usually in about 8 - 12 hours), you can place the slime back in the original Ruby Moon container. Try to only use PP and PS type plastics; slime will stick to PET type plastics
What do I do with my slime charms?
We have designed our slime charms such that they can be placed on a keychain or charm bracelet. You can purchase the keychains and charm bracelets on our website so that you to collect and show off all your charms!
Is slime edible?
None of the products sold on our website are edible. Although some of our slimes smell good enough to eat, children must be mature enough to understand they cannot eat the slime. If in doubt, please ensure adult supervision during slime play.
How long before my order ships?
We try our best to fullfil orders as soon as they are received. All orders will be fulfilled and provided to the shipping service within 2 - 5 business days of purchase. Delivery-time is in additon to this estimated timeline.
How long will my slime last?
Depending on usage and care, slime can last several months and even up to one year. In order to maximize slime life the following suggestions should be followed:
1. Ensure your hands have been cleaned with soap and water before playing with slime
2. Only play with slime on clean surfaces
3. Never add organic ingredients to slime as they will eventuall lead to mold/bacteria forming in your slime
4. Store slime in their original containers with the lid tightly sealed
5. Store slime indoors and out of direct sunlight
